SOCIAL SERVICES

Social services are public services provided by the government, private, and non-profit organizations. These public services aim to support more effective organizations, build stronger communities, and promote equality and opportunity.

Social services aim to improve and support efforts in education, supplying food, health care, police, fire service, job training, subsidized housing, adoption, community management, policy research, and lobbying. The primary focus is to help populations that are in need and unable to help themselves at the moment. The poor and the disabled often receive benefit from these organizations. Families that are experiencing temporary needs also can be served. This App will supply a list of organizations that offer multiple resources. Also, the needs for food or clothing are separated as these are often times searched for. Many Latinos that are not experiencing need may want to look at giving back to their community. Volunteering is valued in Minnesota. Finally, Police and Fire phone numbers will be given for contact in non emergency conditions.
